What it is

As the Care Team Operations Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our growing care team is effectively supported, enabled, and managed. You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our 1099 health coach network and partner with leadership to ensure availability, quality, and scalability. In addition, you’ll drive enablement for our W2 clinicians by managing access, content, and training resources.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on operational rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and enabling distributed care teams to deliver high-quality outcomes at scale.

What you’ll do

1099 Network Management (Health Coaches)

  • Lead recruiting and interviewing of new 1099 health coaches.

  • Manage access provisioning, credentials, and onboarding enablement.

  • Review and approve invoices with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Own communications:

    • Monthly optional webinars

    • Monthly newsletters

    • Ongoing Slack monitoring and engagement

  • Partner with the VP of Operations to:

    • Track and report on availability and quality metrics.

    • Adjust hiring goals as needed to meet care delivery needs.

W2 Care Team Enablement

  • Manage access provisioning and system enablement for W2 clinicians.

  • Maintain and update enablement materials in collaboration with clinical leaders

  • Organize and distribute clinical content (written guides, Loom videos, product demos).

  • Support development of sandbox/test environments or simulation workflows for clinicians to practice.

Vendor Support

  • Assist in vendor management, ensuring performance and accountability for operational partners (e.g., invoicing vendors, training/enablement platforms, or other outsourced services).

  • Track vendor SLAs and performance metrics, escalating issues as needed.

  • Partner cross-functionally to identify and evaluate new vendor solutions that support scalability and efficiency.


What you’ll need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of operations or program management experience, preferably in healthcare.

  • Experience hiring contractors, freelancers, or distributed workforces.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with clinicians, operations, and leadership.

  • Proficiency with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and workflow/project management systems.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in digital health, clinical operations, or health coaching networks.

  • Experience creating enablement or training programs for distributed teams.

  • Startup experience.

Target base salary of $110,000, commensurate with experience
