About the role
As a Quality Control Inspector in Norwood, MA, you’ll be essential to ensuring product quality at every stage—from incoming materials to final inspection. You’ll manage inspection documentation, coordinate with Operations and Purchasing, and act as a technical liaison to resolve issues and prevent future ones. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver products that meet both customer and regulatory standards.
What we are looking for in you
- 2–4 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and comfortable learning new software for document control, training, calibration, and ERP systems
- Perform in-process, incoming, and final inspections to ensure product quality
- Manage and maintain all inspection documentation (electronic and paper), including filing and tracking
- of inspection reports and non-conforming material (NCMR)
- Act as a technical liaison between Quality Engineering and Operations/Engineering for NCMR investigations,
- root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions
- Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, and Quality to resolve non-conforming material issues and close reports
- Conduct final inspection and operational testing of units, and review Device History Records (DHRs) prior to shipment
- Coordinate and manage calibration activities, including scheduling and record maintenance
- Organize or support MRB meetings for NCMR review as needed
- Maintain all inspection and production records in line with procedures
- Assist Supplier/Quality Engineering and QC personnel as required
- Communicate and update the team on NCMRs and inspection findings
- Update SOPs and standard documentation to ensure quality procedures remain effective
