We are a CPA firm headquartered in Walnut Creek, California with additional offices in Reno, Nevada, and New York, New York. We are currently searching for an IT Coordinator/Assistant to fulfill our growing team’s IT needs.?The person in this role will have a variety of responsibilities which will range from structured and routine to creative and strategic. They will be the “go-to” person for daily office IT needs and will work with the IT Committee to facilitate firm growth through IT strategy and development.

- IT Committee member:
- Assisting with evaluating current IT systems for weaknesses and usability
- Staying up-to-date on industry advancements and cybersecurity best practices
- Researching and implementing leading-edge technology
- Championing growth and change by participating in 1, 3, and 5 year strategic planning
- Assisting to plan and execute implementation projects
Structured Tasks:
- Coordinating and collaborating with our external HelpDesk as well as our internal IT Committee/Technology Manager on technical issues and research projects
- Facilitating high level planning and budgeting through purchasing and inventory tracking for all hardware, software, licenses, and warranties
- Fostering IT knowledge by building relationships with new hires and employees through on-boarding, training and ongoing education on topics such as cybersecurity and firm policies
- Ensuring smooth in-office IT operations by managing A/V for meetings and quickly and creatively troubleshooting end user issues in the office or remotely
Requirements
- Associate Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
- Proficiency with Zoom (ideally Zoom administration)
- Experience with IT hardware, troubleshooting, and learning new software
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PDF
- Availability to work full-time in our Walnut Creek office
