Barrio Brewing Co. was established in 1991 in Tucson, AZ and was the first full mash brewery started under the name Gentle Ben's Brewing Company. Fifteen years later, Barrio expanded to a new location so it could continue to brew to meet the demand for their award-winning beers. Now, it is the third largest independent brewery in the state. In 2020, the founders Dennis & Tauna Arnold, sold Barrio Brewing to their employees to become the first Arizona brewery to be 100% Employee-Owned.
After 33 years, Barrio continues to grow and is constantly innovating to meeting the ever-changing desires of Arizona beer drinkers. Out local patrons have also come to expect excellence in our food promoting us to achieve notable recognition and awards. Barrio is proud to be Arizona's neighborhood brewery and pub.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment using both machine and manual cleaning methods. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the kitchen and helps ensure a clean and safe environment for food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and other kitchen items using dishwashers or by hand.
- Ensure all kitchen items are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Keep dishwashing area clean and organized at all times.
- Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately and regularly.
- Assist with basic food prep or kitchen cleaning tasks as needed.
- Restock clean kitchenware and supplies in the appropriate areas.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper use of chemicals and protective equipment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle hot equipment or cleaning solutions safely.
