  • Develop and optimise data ingestion and transform processes to deliver consistent, timely, and accessible data for analytics and reporting.
  • Apply best practices in data architecture, version control, and CI/CD automation to ensure robust, scalable solutions.
  • Embed data quality, lineage, and metadata management within pipelines to support governance, compliance, and transparency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration and performance issues, implementing sustainable long-term fixes.
  • Collaborate with architects, business units, and analytics teams to align solutions with strategic objectives and optimise downstream use cases.
  • Drive continuous improvement by automating workflows, enhancing monitoring, and maintaining clear documentation and knowledge sharing.

Skills & Requirements

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • 5–7+ years’ experience in data engineering and integration.
  • Expertise in working in cloud environments such as AWS
  • Proficient in working with Lakehouse architectures (Databricks, Snowflake).
  • Highly proficient in SQL, Python, Spark, and modern ETL/ELT tools (e.g., DBT).
  • Proficient in using application integration tools (e.g. Boomi)
  • Experience with CI/CD, automation, and version control (Github, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
