TEAM OVERVIEW
The Enterprise Systems Engineering team, part of KKR’s Technology organization, is responsible for the design, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of the technology platforms that power key corporate functions, including Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, Risk, Finance, Human Capital, Corporate Services & Real Estate and Employee Digital Experience. The team partners closely with functional leaders and stakeholders across the business to deeply understand evolving needs and deliver technology that drives measurable impact.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an innovative and technically grounded Senior Leader to reimagine and lead the transformation of our enterprise intranet and digital workplace experience. This individual will architect and deliver a modern, mobile-first, highly personalized, and intuitively navigable platform that serves as the digital front door for our employees worldwide.
This role requires a strong blend of technical design leadership, platform strategy, user experience vision, and engineering execution, with a deep understanding of both the challenges and opportunities of building scalable digital employee experiences in a sophisticated financial services environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategy & Vision
• Define and own the vision, architecture, and roadmap for a next-generation intranet and digitally enabled workplace platform.
• Drive modernization efforts to replace legacy implementations with dynamic, responsive, and personalized solutions.
• Develop a long-term digital workplace strategy that showcases our purpose and enables employees to easily connect, collaborate, discover, and act, across devices and locations.
• Experience Design & Personalization
• Champion a mobile-first, intuitive UX/UI philosophy.
• Partner with design and content teams to bring the firm’s culture, brand, and employee engagement to life via modern digital channels.
• Integrate personalization and role-based targeting for content, tools, and workflows.
• Technical Architecture & Delivery
• Architect scalable and extensible solutions using modern web technologies and digital experience platforms (DXPs).
• Oversee platform integration with systems such as HR (Workday), ITSM (ServiceNow), collaboration (Teams), policy management, and knowledge bases.
• Build frameworks for unified search, dynamic content rendering, performance optimization, and responsive design.
• Leadership & Execution
• Build and lead a cross-functional team of engineers, architects, UX designers, and vendors.
• Own delivery plans, governance, and operational support models.
• Establish strong KPIs for platform usage, performance, adoption, and employee satisfaction.
• Collaboration & Influence
• Act as the primary technical liaison between HR, Corporate Communications, Marketing, IT, Security, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs and cultural goals into technical specifications that can be scaled globally.
• Collaborate with enterprise data, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to enforce governance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCIES
• 15+ years of progressive technology experience, including 5+ years in leading intranet/digital workplace platforms.
• Deep experience with modern intranet and employee experience platforms (e.g., SharePoint Modern, Microsoft Viva, LumApps) and Web Technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, strong front-end dev capabilities)
• Strong experience in building responsive, cross-device employee portals with a focus on performance and usability.
• Proven ability to transform legacy platforms into compelling, modern digital experiences.
• Strong understanding of employee lifecycle, organizational culture, and collaboration needs in a professional services or financial environment.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services or alternative asset management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
• Experience with event-driven architecture or low-code/no-code integration platforms.
• Promotes the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and encourages innovative problem-solving
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
