Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.
Role Purpose
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Rotation Leader to join our team and oversee critical operations in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring shift activities, ensuring production efficiency, and supporting a safe and secure workplace. As a key leader on the manufacturing floor, you will train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance while fostering collaboration with operations management, safety, quality, engineering, and other support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily shift operations, ensuring alignment with production schedules and plant demands.
- Evaluate staffing levels and machine capacity to maximize operational efficiency.
- Supervise and train team members while monitoring performance and providing feedback as needed.
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, attendance tracking, overtime management, and generating reports (e.g., production and safety investigations).
- Promote safety, security, and continuous improvement through participation in audits (Kaizen, 5-S) and cross-departmental coordination.
- Interpret and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and the collective bargaining agreement, including conducting investigations and managing disciplinary actions when necessary.
- This role supports a continuous 24/7 operation, requiring flexibility to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The ability to adjust your schedule as needed is essential.
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Basic understanding of manufacturing safety and OSHA regulations.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Willingness to learn quickly, apply new knowledge, and seek assistance when necessary.
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Technical discipline.
- 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

The range for this position is $61,849.00 - $85,043.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
