- Build and maintain economic and forecasting models for subsurface energy technologies.
- Aggregate and analyze subsurface, operational and financial datasets to identify trends, value assets and companies and characterize opportunities using internal workflows in Enverus Prism.
- Stay up to date on industry news and announcements, integrating market insights into actionable research notes, reports and client presentations.
- Update and improve proprietary databases critical for research, including injection wells, drilling and production data, completion designs and project-specific financial metrics.
- Collaborate with product and data science teams to enhance datasets and workflows used across Enverus Intelligence Research.
- Participate in client meetings, roadshows and conference calls, leveraging Enverus solutions to address complex client questions.
- Partner with Intelligence, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior members of the team, while contributing to team performance and development.
- Independently manage project timelines and deliverables under limited supervision.
- Apply subsurface and financial expertise to solve complex problems requiring prioritization and critical thinking.
- Deliver high-quality research that is timely, actionable and insightful for a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, communication and time management skills.
- Maintain a proactive and curious mindset in exploring new ideas and methodologies.
- 2–4 years of relevant industry experience in oil and gas, energy transition, or related fields
- Undergraduate degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience, Finance, Mathematics or related discipline
- Familiarity with oil and gas reservoirs, drilling, and production operations
- Experience building and maintaining economic models
- Understanding of energy transition technologies and market dynamics
- May have obtained or be pursuing a professional designation (MBA, CFA, P.Eng., P.Geo)
- Highly computer literate, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analytic tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and intellectually curious with a strong work ethic
