Role

The Business Analyst, Sales will be responsible for development of analytics that improve the organization’s ability to identify, target, and win profitable business.  Primary areas of focus include assessing demand at the market, customer, and location level; market share, and win rates.  The analyst with partner with Commercial Strategy teammates to leverage analytics in the design and implementation of sales enablement programs, pricing strategies and capital allocation.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop analytical models and metrics that measure, explain, and predict commercial organization performance.
  • Design and implement analytical tools and solutions to address business problems and initiatives.
  • Distribute analytic outputs within the commercial organization via dashboards, reports, and by engaging with stakeholders.
  • Organize and maintain Commercial Strategy data sources, including customer and demand data, asset and location data, and competitive data.
  • Create insights from analyzing & interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
  • Participate in problem solving and issue resolution.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure Commercial Strategy is best supporting the company.

Education/Certifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, or other quantitative discipline required

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • Three (3)+ years of experience in an analytics, financial analyst, strategy or related position
  • Strong data story telling skills; high business acumen and ability to turn data analysis into actionable strategic insights
  • Strong ability to effectively and efficiently communicate analytical and financial analysis to management
  • Excellent technical skills – experience with Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Python, R, QGIS or similar platforms and languages

Working Conditions: This is a remote role with the expectation of on-site collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Compensation
The salary range offered for this position is $87700 - $120600 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
