• Collaborate with the Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Investment Management teams to support effective liquidity management and accurate cash forecasting.
• Perform ongoing analysis by identifying and isolating primary drivers; effectively communicate the results to management and various internal stakeholders.
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing and interpreting financial data and making comparative analyses.
• Use technology and automation to optimize and streamline cash management processes.
• Partner with the investment management team within Sammons Financial Group Asset Management to support spread lending programs, including securities lending and Federal Home Long Bank (FHLB).
• Support the capital management function.
• Partner with other functional areas and provide financial expertise to various projects.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues and queries while acting as a liaison with various internal teams and management.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Mathematics Preferred
- Master's Degree Preferred
- 7-10 years experience in Finance or Accounting with a strong emphasis on cash forecasting, liquidity and working capital Preferred
- Experience in developing and implementing forecasting and reporting processes Preferred
- Proven financial planning experience in a complex financial services environment
- Strong technical background with experience in ERP systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (i.e. Power BI/Tableau)
- Exposure to Treasury Management System (e.g., Kyriba, GTreasury)
- Demonstrated ability to frame issues, options and solutions using financial data for business decision making
- Extensive quantitative and qualitative analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to operate with strong conceptual thinking rather than strictly in a ‘rules’ framework
- Collaborative team player
- Ability to work effectively in multi-company/multi-site environment
- Effectively communicate complex concepts in simplistic terms
- CFA Preferred
- Some travel may be required.
