In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.

Together we define white space, push boundaries and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma.

What You'll Do

We are looking for a Director of Infrastructure & Cloud Services to lead the global cloud strategy for the IT Infrastructure team and report directly to the Senior Director of IT.

This role will plan, architect, develop, organize, and work with teams to implement the next generation of server, storage, and cloud solutions to support the expansive growth of data and systems within BridgeBio. To ensure system reliability and uptime, the individual will provide thoughtful leadership around capacity planning, backup and recovery, high availability, business continuity, disaster recovery, and infrastructure operations.

The primary success of this position will be measured by how effectively IT rolls out a cloud-first server and storage infrastructure environment, enabling rapid access to compute resources and cloud services (whether in the office or remote), and how security and quality measures are applied to secure our assets while minimizing intrusiveness to the staff.

  • Oversee security standards, patching, and vulnerability management for all servers, storage, and cloud platforms
  • Lead managed service providers in monitoring and supporting core infrastructure services

Financial & Resource Management

  • Prepare and manage infrastructure-related cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
  • Monitor and control the annual department budget to ensure expenditures align with the business plan
  • Optimize vendor contracts, licensing, hardware, and cloud usage to control costs and improve ROI

Team Leadership & Development

  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the infrastructure function
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams to deliver integrated solutions that advance organizational goals
