Could you be the full-time Train Validation Engineer in Saint Ouen, close to Paris we’re looking for?


Your future role:

Take on a new challenge and apply your validation and testing expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, rigorous, and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of validation activities, directly impacting the success of our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with engineering teams, project teams, external test laboratories, and end clients, while managing schedules and ensuring safety during tests. You will oversee the budget and deliverables related to validation activities and contribute to Alstom's operational excellence.

You’ll specifically take care of defining and executing type tests at the train level, but also managing test teams and coordinating activities with internal and external stakeholders.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring responsibility for QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) for train validation activities

  • Defining the validation budget during tender phases and ensuring adherence throughout projects

  • Developing and executing validation plans, procedures, and associated reports

  • Ensuring safety during type testing

  • Managing internal test teams and external test laboratories

  • Planning and coordinating type tests

  • Maintaining effective and continuous communication with the end client

  • Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of validation processes and methodologies

  • Degree in engineering or equivalent

  • Significant experience in project management, particularly in testing and/or validation activities

  • Knowledge of the railway sector is a plus

  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple interfaces

  • Strong safety and quality orientation
