About the role:

The role of the IT Help Desk Technician is to ensure system operation and functionality so that the end users can accomplish their business tasks. The IT Help Desk Technician will be the initial point of contact for all technology-related issues ensuring a rapid resolution for the end user as well as other technical duties. This role is expected to have excellent interpersonal communication skills and will interact with various departments and executive levels on a daily basis as well as be required to provide both on-site and remote support. This is a full-time position working on-site, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities:

• You will be the first point of contact for IT issues submitted via email, web portal, or telephone and ensure timely and effective resolution of those issues.
• Prioritize incidents and service tickets.
• Utilize remote tools to provide support for multiple building locations.
• Perform hands-on support when the use of remote tools is not appropriate, including hardware repairs, peripheral devices, or other issues that require physical access.
• Configure software and hardware components throughout the shop floor to assist in production on machines.
• Build and configure end-user workstations to the users’ specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage hardware inventory and software licensing, purchase new equipment or software licensing as needed.

Educational Background and Experience:

• Associates degree in a Computer Science field or 1 year equivalent work experience.

• Experience with desktop operating systems to including Windows 10 & 11, Linux, and Android OS and iOS.

• Experience with Windows server operating systems, VMWare, and Veeam. Active Directory experience is a plus. Kaseya VSA experience is preferred.

• Must have various office hardware understanding.

• Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive to other locations as necessary
