What You’ll Do
Oversee reception desk and shuttle services, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to life safety procedures. Supervise and train receptionists and drivers, manage resident, family, and guest inquiries, and respond to emergencies according to company policies. Perform reception and shuttle duties as needed.
Work Schedule
- Monday : 5:30am - 1:30pm
- Tuesday - Friday : 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Supervisor must be flexible to fill in as needed to assist with covering shifts (vacations, sick calls, etc.)
Compensation
- Annual Salary Range: $44,891.00 - $57,717.00
Responsibilities
- Supervises the reception and shuttle program for Arcadia
- Ensures excellent quality and consistency of customer service.
- Ensures that first responder duties are carried out at the fire command center by all reception desk staff performing necessary duties for emergency situations, such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies and drills as outlined in the Emergency Management Guide, and that such duties are carried out with efficiency, precision and consistency.
- Addresses service concerns and issues in a timely manner through communication and teamwork with the Resident Services Manager (RSM) and all departments within the Arcadia Community as applicable
- Works with the RSM to develop, implement and monitor the delivery of our service standards.
- Responsible for adequate staffing which includes, coordination of work schedules and shift coverage of the respective reception desks and shuttle programs.
- Works with the RSM on hiring and retention of the reception desk and shuttle programs.
- Trains and supervises the receptionists and drivers.
- Serves in an on-call capacity to provide immediate response to after hours and weekend emergencies and escalates up to the RSM as applicable.
- Ensures required training and certification are in place and up to date for shuttle drivers.
- Ensures that AFC policies, procedures and protocols are carried out.
- Performs reception desk and shuttle duties as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position supervises Receptionists and Shuttle Drivers at Arcadia. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and contributing to hiring decisions, planning, assigning, directing work; training; addressing concerns and resolving problems; escalating up to the RSM as need and performance management which includes evaluating performance.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- Valid State of Hawaii Driver’s License and clean driving abstract highly preferred.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification required.

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a 4 year college or university; or one year supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
