WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead the Bluelink business group and drive innovation across cutting-edge mobility technologies. You’ll shape the future of connected vehicle experiences by managing strategy, launching new features, and collaborating with global partners to unlock new revenue streams. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Manage Bluelink business group and business performance of various Connected Car products to established KPIs.
- Enhance the current Bluelink business revenue and develop new business revenue based on Bluelink (e.g. B2C, B2B and B2B2C revenue models).
- Prepare and present executive presentations on various Connected Car strategies and feature launch plans.
- Support various product launch activities by collaborating with various departments for appropriate technology feature support.
- Work with HMA, HATCI and HMC research teams, as well as suppliers, to gather and analyze market data.
- Collaborate with HMC and industry partners to ideate and propose new Connected Car features.
- Manage HMA’s Connected Car business strategy: mid and long-range plans, near-term application plans.
- Work with Product Planning, Vehicle Technology Planning and Connected Car to ensure optimization of Connected Car feature application across the HMA lineup, considering impacts to brand, sales, service revenue and dealer profit.
- Act as HMA’s Product Manager for new connected car technology launches and rollouts. Develop plans; work with other HMA divisions, HMC, HATCI and suppliers to implement plans.
- Support PR and Marketing events. Act as HMA’s technology expert.
- Manage HMA’s technology branding and naming strategies, working closely with HMA Brand Strategy team.
- Effectively coach, counsel, and develop staff; efficiently manage staff’s time, materials and budget while focusing on the goals and vision of the company.
- Signature authority on PRs, CRs based on Finance matrix.
- Negotiate with Vendors as needed (but no signature authority).
- Determine division of work responsibility within the group.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree a plus.
- At least ten years of experience with direct experience product planning and technology planning required
- At least three years of supervisory experience required.
- At least two years experience managing product revenue required
- Experience presenting to executives and industry groups required
- Experience working with an automotive OEM a plus
- Strong business sense on feature value and consumer interest.
- Knowledge of consumer electronics industry.
- Knowledge of connected car and IOT market.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
- Compensation Range: $137,025 - $203,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
