- The standard wage range for this role is $26.47 to $31.11per hour
- It may be possible to earn more over time up to $35.75 per hour
- Work Schedule: 40 hours, Mon-Fri

Job Summary
As a Behavioral Health Patient Access Coordinator at UCNW, you will play a key role in facilitating access to a wide range of Behavioral Health services. This position ensures smooth coordination of patient referrals, scheduling, and communication, supporting multiple programs within Unity Care NW. The coordinator works closely with patients, providers, and other departments to streamline care processes, manage patient data, and improve overall service delivery.

Requirements
- Knowledge of behavioral health terminology and psychopharmacology.
- Experience working with underserved and or/transient populations.
- Prepares basic correspondence and simple reports in Microsoft Word.
- Keyboarding speed of 55 wpm and data entry skills; accuracy is essential.
- Uses Microsoft Excel to create tables and simple displays of information.
- Basic Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
- Demonstrates necessary proficiency with all electronic clinical systems, including EMR and scheduling systems, in use at the health center.
- Able to understand and utilize reports generated by Clinical Informatics team to assess clinical orders and waitlists and set priorities in scheduling patients.
- Able to exercise tact and diplomacy in the resolution of mild conflicts or disagreements that occur on the job that would be considered at a level of basic “customer service”.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, fingers, and talk frequently.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work in shared workspaces, in a standard climate-controlled office environment with artificial lighting, using computer, printer, scanner, fax machine, copier, and multi-line telephone.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to communicate bilingually in Spanish
