Are you a coffee expert and love sharing its rich stories? Join Nespresso in a new role within our retail boutique as a Coffee Bard, where your passion for coffee and storytelling will shine. Inspire and connect with customers and team members, driving sales, loyalty, and enhancing the overall Nespresso experience. As a brand ambassador, you'll provide tastings, product demonstrations, and continuously elevate the customer experience through inspiring our customers to explore the world of coffee. The approximate hourly pay for this position is $24.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Training Customers:
- Be a source of relevant coffee knowledge within the boutique.
- Facilitate new hire training as part of their onboarding process.
- Conduct product launch training according to guides from the L&D team.
- Assist with managing the coffee calendar.
Inspire & Engage Boutique Employees:
- Facilitate the Golden Capsule contest within your boutique.
- Host coffee tastings to elevate team members’ tasting abilities and drive engagement.
- Uphold and be the reference for tasting standards in the boutique.
- Facilitate tasting experiences, including Nespresso Masterclasses, for customers.
Drive Business Results:
- Introduce Club members to the art of coffee tasting and develop their curiosity about our full range of products.
- Provide a seamless customer experience in alignment with Mystery Shop and premium service standards.
- Contribute to achieving individual and boutique targets by selling Nespresso products.
- Register new boutique customers, open their accounts, and assist them during their first purchase.
- Ensure the accuracy of the customer database.
- Complete beginning and end-of-day procedures to support the leadership team.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of internal experience or external coffee expertise strongly preferred.
- Training and/or onboarding experience preferred.
- Ability to capture and engage an audience and drive sales through product enthusiasm.
- Strong initiative and critical thinking skills for problem-solving.
- Excellent planning, prioritizing, and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- You are punctual and available to work open and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
