The Impact You'll Make

At Danfoss, we’re engineering a more sustainable world—and keeping our operations running smoothly is key to that mission. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring that our equipment, systems, and production lines operate safely and reliably.

In this role, you’ll apply your technical skills across hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems to keep production flowing and our teams supported. You’ll help solve problems, prevent downtime, and contribute directly to the success of our people and our products.

This is more than a maintenance role—it’s an opportunity to work with advanced systems, collaborate with a diverse team, and grow your skills in a global company committed to innovation and sustainability.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Keep equipment running: Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC, pumping, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.

  • Solve problems on the floor: Provide direct support for production lines, assisting with process changes and daily problem-solving.

  • Repair and rebuild systems: Dismantle machinery, replace defective parts, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operation.

  • Work across technologies: Carry out electrical repairs (motors, switches, relays, solenoids, fans, fuses) and HVAC troubleshooting (chillers, compressor test stands).

  • Use hands-on expertise: Operate tools and equipment such as forklifts, cranes, grinders, and lathes to complete repairs and rebuilds.

What We're Looking For

  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED, plus at least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience (or 15+ years in heavy industry with at least 1 year in a leadership role).

  • Technical skills:

    • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics

    • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and/or HVAC equipment

    • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, PLC troubleshooting, computerized maintenance systems)

  • Certifications (must meet at least one):

    • Millwright, Electrical and Instrumentation Technology, or Electrical certification (400+ hours of Commercial Electrician instruction)

    • Electrical Journeyman certification

    • PLC programming/troubleshooting experience with real-world examples

    • At least 1 year of commercial HVAC or HVAC test rig troubleshooting experience

  • Mindset & Safety: Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent safety record, and commitment to using proper PPE and safe work practices.
