About the role
- Coordinate the delivery and dispatch of pathology reports, consumables, and clinical trial kits to internal and external clients.
- Undertake pathology courier delivery tasks, including covering courier drivers to complete established runs, ensuring timely and secure transportation of medical specimens, consumables, and reports.
- Process electronic and phone orders, manage enquiries, and assist with stock ordering from vendors and hospital stores.
- Support inventory control through regular stock takes and efficient inventory management.
- Provide high-quality office support including photocopying, scanning, emailing, and filing while maintaining departmental KPIs.
- Work both collaboratively and independently to ensure accurate, timely service across all administration tasks.
About you
- A current and valid driver’s licence, with confidence to occasionally cover courier runs as required.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate deliveries, dispatches, and multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to handle phone and electronic enquiries with professionalism.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in processing orders, managing inventory, and maintaining KPIs.
- Solid office administration skills including Microsoft Office, data entry, and document handling (scanning, emailing, filing).
- A flexible and self-motivated approach, able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
