A DAY IN LIFE AS AN ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Director of Agronomy and the Golf & Grounds team. This position handles a variety of office tasks, assists with accounting and HR processes, and helps keep daily operations running efficiently. Responsibilities include facilitating communication and translations between staff, receiving and distributing deliveries and mail, maintaining office supply inventory, answering phones, and assisting with vendor inquiries. The role also supports employee, recruitment, training, certifications such as CPR and First Aid, and intern housing while ensuring compliance with labor laws and Club policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

    • Undergraduate college degree with a business major or minor.
    • Experience as administrative assistant.
    • Bi-lingual, fluent in Spanish and English required.
    • Club or hospitality industry experience a plus. (or green industry)
    • Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
    • Strong work-ethic and service mindset
    • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
    • Ability to professionally handle confidential and highly sensitive information with discretion
    • Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
    • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Good punctuation, spelling, grammar and attention to detail a must.
    • Anticipate needs and wants of managers by being prepared and organized while acting with a sense of urgency.
    • Must demonstrate appropriate analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational and project management skills.
    • Must have superior interpersonal skills as well as excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing.
    • Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
