IMAGERY & SENSORS SME (LEAD)
Location: Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: TS/SCI (CI Poly Preferred)
Note: This position is part of an active proposal effort and is contingent upon contract award.

Overview
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a Lead-level Imagery and Sensors SME to mentor other SMEs, maintain instructor compliance, and deliver training across GEOINT learning levels. This role serves as the primary POC for Imagery Analysis & Sensors Course Managers and Branch Chiefs, ensuring team readiness and compliance with qualification standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction across Fundamental, Intermediate, and Advanced Imagery Analysis & Sensors courses.
• Mentor and oversee Imagery Analysis & Sensors SMEs, ensuring certification and qualification compliance.
• Coordinate with Course Managers and Branch Chiefs on course delivery and updates.
• Provide expertise in imagery exploitation systems, GEOINT data sources, and sensor tradecraft.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI (CI Poly preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Imagery Analysis, Imagery Exploitation Systems, GEOINT Data Sources, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in Imagery Analysis & Sensors tradecraft, methodology, or technology
• 2+ years delivering instruction to adult learners
• 4+ years managing teams

Desired Qualifications
Department of Defense (DoD) Basic Instructor Certification
