Jeff Wyler Cadillac of Fairfield is "Now Hiring" a Custodian/Shuttle Driver!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean, orderly, and sanitized. This includes general cleaning tasks, minor maintenance, and following safety protocols.

We are also seeking an individual who will in their down time Shuttle Customers to and from work, school or home! 

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors

• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors

• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment

• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or reporting repairs

• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify supervisor of needs

• Lock and unlock assigned buildings and ensure security of buildings

• Follow all health and safety regulations

• Shuttle Customers to and from Work, School and Home while the Customers vehicle is in Service.

• Other Task as assigned by the Manager!

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be reliable and punctual

• Must have good driving record and be insurable!

Working Conditions:

• May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and occasional unpleasant conditions

• Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting

• May require evening or weekend shifts, depending on facility needs
