This role is crucial to scaling our SME lending franchise in a key market.

Job Purpose

• To lead and develop the SME lending business in driving sustainable growth and profitability through strategic planning, team leadership, and effective market penetration. This includes developing and implementing business strategies, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies for the South India region, focusing on growth, profitability, and market share expansion within the CP-Small segment.
• Conduct market analysis and identify new business opportunities to expand the SME lending portfolio.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions and strategies to enhance customer acquisition and retention.
• Collaborate with product specialists to ensure product offerings are competitive, customer-centric, and aligned with market demands. Provide timely feedback on product performance and customer experience.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and customers.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape, proactively adapting strategies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Relevant 15 to 18 years in the banking industry with a strong focus on SME lending.
• Proven experience in parameterized lending products is essential.
• Demonstrated success in team leadership and sales management within a similar environment.
