Shift: 3rd shift
Pay: $ $38.60/hour + shift differential. This position is eligible for overtime pay and is paid weekly
SUMMARY: The Maintenance Electrical Technician is tasked with conducting advanced troubleshooting and repair for machinery and systems, aiding engineering and plant personnel in specifying, installing, and altering integrated systems, and offering technical assistance across all operation stages. A key expectation of this position is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor with daily tasks as needed. This role holds accountability for ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance. Proficiency in various skill sets is essential, encompassing expertise in electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and/or Experience: Associate in Electronics Technology or closely related technical field – OR – 4+ years of automation and/or industrial maintenance experience.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; Strong skills in documentation organization, the use of technical materials, and research techniques. Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization, including government officials, technicians, and vendors.
Special Skills: High level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated skills in the area of AC/DC circuits, industrial electrical systems; Knowledge in the theory and application of electronic devices; Hands-on experience with PLC systems and microprocessor troubleshooting and operation; Working knowledge and skills in tools and components used in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems such as bearings, gears, clutches, belts, and seals; Ability to troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems; Inventory management and recordkeeping for critical parts; Experience with sealing equipment, robotic systems, industrial slicing, and meat injection equipment preferred.
Travel: Occasional travel required (1–5 trips per year).
