BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support for core conversion project. Ensures accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data as it is transitioned to a new core platform.
TYPICAL DUTIES
Performs accurate data entry and data cleanup to prepare datasets for system conversion.
Conducts thorough data validation and quality checks to ensure completeness and correctness.
Identifies, tracks, and corrects data errors across multiple file runs and sources.
Collaborates with project leads and department managers to resolve inconsistencies and discrepancies.
Maintains proper documentation of all data-related changes.
Utilizes Excel to manipulate, analyze, and format data efficiently (including use of functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.).
Supports testing and validation of data in the new system post-conversion.
Assists with data tasks as needed throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Maintain and understand compliance to ensure that work complies with GECU’s established policies, procedures and applicable regulations, to include Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML) addressing Money Laundering and the Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), Member Identification Program (MIP), and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC).
Other duties that may be assigned or required in connection with the general operation of the credit union.
