What to expect:
The Associate Resource Planning Analyst provides critical support to the Resource Planning team by managing reporting, data entry, and recurring analytical tasks that ensure accuracy and efficiency in workforce planning. This role provides foundational experience in reporting and data analysis, focusing on maintaining accurate data, producing recurring reports, and supporting team projects while building skills for future growth in resource planning and analysis.
How you will make an impact:
- Prepare, update, and distribute recurring reports related to workforce planning, staffing, and operational performance.
- Maintain accuracy of resource planning data, ensuring timely updates and corrections across systems.
- Perform data entry, data validation, and audit checks to support accurate forecasting and scheduling.
- Assist in compiling and formatting data for presentations, dashboards, and leadership reporting.
- Partner with higher-level analysts to provide ad-hoc support on projects and analyses.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.
- Learn and build foundational skills in resource planning tools, forecasting, and workforce management methodologies.
What you will bring:
Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Mathematics, or related field, OR equivalent work experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in an analytical, reporting, or operations support role (internship experience welcome).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot, tables, charts).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple recurring tasks with consistency and timeliness.
- Eagerness to learn, take direction, and develop technical and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Skills
- Familiarity with SQL and macros.
Location
The successful candidate is expected to live in the Chicago area. This position is Hybrid.
