The Atlanta Community Food Bank is working to end hunger in our community with the food, people and big ideas needed so that no one worries where their next meal is coming from. Since 1979, we�ve been providing food for a growing network of nonprofit partners � including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers. We currently serve more than 700 partners in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

About the Role:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for supporting the inventory team in the daily auditing and movement of inventory. This position ensures compliance with inventory controls, food safety, and warehouse safety standards. The Inventory Clerk will primarily perform daily cycle counts, operate warehouse equipment, support data entry / analysis, and assist with special projects as directed.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cycle counts, empty bin counts, staging bin audits, spot checks, and outbound inspections.

Assist with warehouse operations by moving, staging, and storing products safely and efficiently.

Support and audit the receiving and put-away processes, ensuring accurate labeling, bin location integrity, and WMS updates.

Maintain up-to-date records in WMS/ERP systems, provide basic reporting and support inventory reporting.

Follow food safety, workplace safety, and compliance procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment.

Report discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors for resolution.

Support inventory reconciliation (annual physical counts, and between WMS/ERP systems).

Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet daily warehouse and inventory goals.

What You�ll Need: Skills your resume should demonstrate:

Must have some experience operating a stand-up lift truck and other warehouse equipment.

Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Office, etc.)

Must be able to work in varying temperature environments.

Demonstrated good oral and written communications skills.

Ability to work weekends, and various hours based on the needs of the operation.

A thirst for knowledge and curious by nature.

Exposure to WMS or ERP systems.
