Bus Driver presso Elm Terrace Gardens

Description

Purpose:

To provide polite, courteous transportation, to our residents on day trips, medical runs and trips.

Schedule is various hours, mostly day, occasional evenings and weekends available.  Perfect position for a school bus driver who has time during the day between their morning and afternoon pickups.

Essential Job Functions - Duties

1 Maintain log book recording all trips and gas purchases for each bus.

2 Keep fuel tanks full in all vehicles.

3 Keep all vehicles clean inside and out.

4 Arrange for State Inspection as necessary, enforce no smoking policy in any vehicle at any time, ensure that passengers use seat belts in vehicles so equipped, assist passengers in and out of vehicles as necessary.

5 Operate chair lift as necessary, assist with packages and baggage.

6 Report any complaints or repairs to the Director of Environmental Services

7 Present positive endorsement of Elm Terrace Gardens, its mission, programs, policies, procedures, and administration to Elm Terrace Gardens residents, staff, visitors, and other constituencies at all times.

8 Report to work as scheduled.

1 Maintains resident confidentiality at all times.

2 Treats residents with kindness, dignity patience, and respect.

3 Knows and complies with the rules of the residents' rights.

4 Adheres to residents' personal property rights at all times.

Requirements

Qualifications

1 Must be at least 18 years of age

2 Must hold current CDL Class 2 drivers license with Passenger endorsement and have an outstanding driving record and possess a current medical examiners card.

3 Must speak, read and understand English

4 Must possess an agreeable and positive attitude toward the residents
