Pay rate is $18.00 per hour
Full-time position working 37.5 hours per week
Work hours will be scheduled between 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
We are seeking a dependable, caring, and organized Food Service Coordinator to prepare, portion and deliver daily meals and snacks to the classrooms in our School For Limitless Learning in Valrico. This position also supports classrooms throughout the center as a Floater, assisting with daily routines, classroom coverage, and fostering a safe, engaging environment for children. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who is a dynamic, multi-talented team player with a heart for children and attention to detail.

A snapshot of what you'll be doing:
- Receive food vendor order, prepare, and serve daily meals and snacks
- Modify meals for special dietary needs
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and food service areas
- Track daily meal counts, maintain inventory, place food orders, and manage supplies
- Keep accurate records for food service compliance and participate in audits
- Assist teachers with daily routines, activities, and classroom supervision
- Provide breaks and ratio coverage as needed across age groups
- Help with transitions, meals, and basic caregiving tasks
- Foster a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children
What we value:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and one to three months experience and/or training
- Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain one upon hire
- Ability to work flexible hours based on the needs of the program
- Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45 hour Child Care Training
