Overview
As the NetSuite Technical Lead & Administrator, you will serve as the technical owner of our financial systems ecosystem, with NetSuite at its core. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage system configurations, integrations, security, and ensure overall system health across tools such as NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB), Avalara, Rillion, FloQast, and banking platforms.
You will partner closely with Finance, Tax, and Digital teams to balance day-to-day support with long-term scalability, automation, and optimization initiatives. This is a high-impact role requiring both deep technical proficiency and a systems architecture mindset.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary NetSuite Administrator, responsible for configurations, roles/permissions, saved searches, workflows, dashboards, bundles, and sandbox environments.
- Own technical design, implementation/configuration, and oversight of all integrated financial systems (e.g., NSPB, Avalara, Rillion, FloQast, banking tools).
- Design, scope, and implement system enhancements, automations, and integrations in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Support Finance and Accounting with reporting, compliance & audits, and automation across key cycles (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, month-end close).
- Manage testing, release management, documentation, and training for NetSuite and related systems
- Ensure system governance, data integrity, and security across all financial platforms.
- Provide timely user support by managing tickets, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with vendors as needed.
- Monitor and optimize system performance: perform regular maintenance (backups, security patches), and stay current on NetSuite releases and best practices to maximize system reliability and scalability.

Education & Experience Required
- Embrace and live by the mission and values of Cypress Creek Renewables
- 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration in a multi-entity or global environment.
- Deep understanding of core NetSuite modules: GL, AP, AR, Projects, Fixed Assets.
- Strong proficiency with saved searches, reports, dashboards, and workflows
- Familiarity with adjacent systems such as NSPB, Avalara, Rillion, and FloQast.
- Proven experience delivering system enhancements and managing change requests.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
Experience Preferred
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries.
- Understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Familiarity with integration platforms (Celigo, Boomi, Mulesoft) and APIs.
- Working knowledge of SuiteScript, SQL, or NetSuite Analytics.
Location: The preferred location for this role is one of our office locations: Durham, NC or Washington, DC. Our team operates on a hybrid schedule, with in-office schedule of three days per week.
Compensation: The salary range for the position is $100,000-$150,000 plus bonus and benefits. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
