Company Overview and Job Description

Cyclone Technology, based in Phoenix, Arizona, is a manufacturer of high-pressure water cleaning machines for the US and global marketplace, for municipal, airport, and commercial applications. Our technology is environmentally favorable, designed to recover 95% of the water used and eliminate wastewater runoff.  With over 30 years of experience and an install-base of nearly 500 machines, we have a commitment to innovation, quality assurance, and customer service.  Cyclone sells and rents direct to customers, and also supports a limited number of regional dealers.

This position is based in Phoenix but flexibility exists to work and travel from other US-based locations. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining relationships with key partners and customers, and contributing to the organization's overall strategic direction. The position plays a crucial role in expanding market presence, increasing sales, and maximizing profitability.  This position currently reports to the President of the Company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and manage defined existing customer partnerships.
  • Drive entry into new markets and expansion in current markets.
  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan which includes operating plans and budgets for long-term growth.
  • Cultivate and manage distribution partnerships, strategic and national accounts.
  • Provide regular reporting on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities for potential growth areas.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Successful track record in business development and leadership roles, with a strong background in revenue generation and growth.  
  • Preferred experience in the commercial capital equipment sales or rental industry.
  • Mechanical aptitude for machinery and understanding of its use.
  • Comfortable working with equipment operators and administrators.
  • Ability to travel at least 25 % of the time.
  • Exceptional communication skills and work ethic.

 Compensation: Competitive base salary and commission program.
