Unit Description:Serving Detroit area fliers since 2002, Delaware North provides hospitality retail services at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, Michigan's busiest airport, and one of the largest airline hubs in the country.
Responsibilities:- Perform transfers of products and merchandise to and from the warehouse
- Receive products and merchandise, check for quality and damage, and ensure proper storage of delivered products and merchandise; perform physical inventory as needed
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Process requests for supplies, prepare merchandise for delivery, and prepare packages for shipping according to established procedures
- Ensure the security of company assets
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 6 months’ previous related experience
- Basic math and counting skills required
- Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout the facility; requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 165 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching, during the entire length of the shift.
- Exposure to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season
