Skillforce is seeking skilled Mechanical Technicians for work in Huntington, IN. Ideal candidates will be true troubleshooters, and have direct experience working previously as a maintenance technician on automotive casting equipment.
Electro-Mechanical Technician Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues in a production Casting and Machining environment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, PLCs, and high-voltage equipment
- Maintain, disassemble, repair, and reassemble plant machinery (hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical)
- Fabricate mechanical assemblies from raw materials
- Perform and interpret tests using various equipment
- Collaborate with production teams on quality and improvement projects
- Follow OSHA safety standards and plant safety procedures
- Participate in training to learn new technologies and techniques
- Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor
Electro-Mechanical Technician Requirements:
- Must have previous automotive plant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician doing mechanical and electrical maintenance on industrial equipment
Pay:
- Up to $40/hr
- $125/day per diem paid on all 7 days (if traveling in)
Shift:
- Multiple shifts, 60+ hours a week
