Position Duties

  • Provides customer service for County employees and the general public through phone calls, email, or text messages.
  • Work as a Collier311 Call Center agent.
  • Provides general information about Collier County services, projects, or meetings conducted by the Board of County Commissioners and Advisory Boards and conducts research as needed to provide County information.
  • Explains policies and procedures regarding Department or Division programs and redirects to appropriate division staff when needed.
  • Prepares Service Requests for residents/customers if they require additional assistance, or if the resident/customer wants to submit a complaint or has a concern that is County related. Updates as needed.
  • Provides backup desk coverage for the County Manager's Office and the Board of County Commissioner Lobby.
  • Will be required to work during undeclared emergency or declared emergency when deemed necessary by the County's Administrative Office.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
One (1) year of related experience.
 Fingerprinting required.

Salary offers above the minimum pay grade may be considered based on qualifications. 
Essential Employees may be required to work during an undeclared or declared emergency.  The County’s Administrative Office will determine who will be required to work on an incident-by-incident basis.
