Senior Industrial Engineer presso Bell and Evans

At Bell and Evans, we’re known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. We’re looking for a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead engineering-driven process improvements, optimize layouts and workflows, and deliver measurable impact across our operations.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you’ll apply your technical expertise and leadership skills to improve efficiency, throughput, and safety. In this role, you will:

• Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize processes across multiple facilities

• Conduct time studies, workflow modeling, and capacity analyses to inform labor planning and facility layouts

• Develop and optimize facility layouts, work instructions, and standard operating procedures to improve flow and productivity

• Lead cross-functional teams on industrial engineering and lean manufacturing projects

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to guide decisions and recommend actions

• Partner with Operations, QA, and Safety to ensure improvements meet quality and food safety standards

• Oversee lean manufacturing rollouts and train Industrial Engineers on workflows and process-improvement methods

• Serve as a key decision-maker for major process-improvement projects, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables

• Develop and deliver presentations, training sessions, and demos to stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a hands-on engineer who’s as comfortable with data as with people. You’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field and 5+ years of industrial engineering/continuous improvement experience

• Demonstrated expertise in time studies, layout optimization, capacity planning, and industrial engineering methods

• Strong project management and business analysis skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (AutoCAD a plus)

• Experience leading geographically distributed, cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Proven ability to align strategic plans with business and functional area initiatives
