Purpose of Role:

Reporting to Mine Manager, Project Supervisor I, will be responsible for supervising all Mine Operations construction projects on site.         

Role Accountabilities:

  • Supervise all Mine Ops construction projects on site.
  • Communicate work plans to crew leader(s), ensuring that they are prepared and knowledgeable of projects prior to implementation. 
  • Communicate progress, performance, etc. to the Project Coordinator. 
  • Able to independently identify project needs and coordinate ordering of needed supplies, equipment maintenance, and task completions. 
  • Track KPIs and effectively communicate effectively
  • Provided verbal and written reports to Project Coordinator
  • Knowledge of project practices, polices, and systems.
  • Ensure all company procedures and safety policies are followed.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma or GED and five years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to work & multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can move over uneven terrain
  • The ability to work in different environmental conditions.
  • Positive work ethic
  • Maintain a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, manage and grow the team
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Have reliable personal transportation to the site location (transportation at the site will be in company vehicles)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current MSHA.
