Job Description:

SCOPE OF POSITION

This is a full-time, in-person position based at one of our office locations in Raleigh-Durham, Charlotte, or Charleston.

The Account Management Data Analyst drives key global projects within the Account Management Program, leveraging data insights to support decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and drive sustainable business growth. This role is responsible for executing the technical roadmap, developing scalable data solutions, and delivering high-impact reporting for executive leadership.

The ideal candidate must be an independent worker with a passion for data, a strong desire to learn, and an ability to develop innovative ways to analyze and present data in a real-world environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with large and complex data sets, applying strong data analysis skills and technology. A high level of attention to detail, strong research abilities, and proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools are essential.

The scope of the Account Management Program includes:

  1. Global Account Management  (GAM) Program
  2. Customer Relationship Development (CRD) Program
  3. Account Development Program (ADP)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Data Analysis & Reporting Solutions

  • Develop and implement reporting solutions to drive data-driven business decisions.
  • Integrate and stage external data sources for sustainable reporting.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure program success.
  • Design, implement, and maintain reports using third-party and in-house reporting tools, including Power BI, Excel, and InetSoft.
  • Build interactive reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI and other reporting platforms to visualize key insights.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify business trends, patterns and anomalies and communicate findings effectively.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze internal and external reports, including KPIs and sales. performance/recognition reports, and present insights to the sales team.

Business & System Analysis

  • Identify data requirements and optimal formats for customized solutions.
  • Overcome data challenges by sourcing from multiple warehouses and external sources.
  • Maintain and optimize database structures for efficiency.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Expertise

  • Act as a business stakeholder in IS development efforts.
  • Align with internal teams to improve reporting solutions.
  • Research and implement new data tools and platforms.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science) is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a sales or financial environment.
  • Expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Advanced Excel.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex data for executive presentations.

Preferred:

  • Degree in a quantitative field or business.
  • Experience with Python, R, JavaScript, or other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with DB2, Vertica, SQL Server.
  • Customs Broker license / IATA-FIATA certification.
  • Project management and business process documentation experience.
  • Ability to adapt to continuous change and embrace new technology.
