This position is responsible for supervising Family Navigators and overseeing the execution of the day-to-day operations including home visitation, parent support groups, management, and support for assigned areas. Carries an appropriate direct service caseload.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure program quality through staff supervision and assessments.
- Conduct oneself as a leader with commitment to the betterment and growth of the program by offering solutions, development of processes, promoting communication with others, and taking ownership of the Family First Program.
- Create opportunities to support the growth of staff.
- Monitor home visitation notes and advise staff on client cases.
- Monitor group data and grant compliance
- Verify data is entered in data systems timely and correctly.
- Provide reflective supervision and support to staff.
- Make hiring decisions with Program Manager, complete performance reviews, provide feedback, and make disciplinary recommendations.
- Adhere to program financials and budget, code expenses to appropriate cost centers, purchasing, and program implementation.
- Prepare and submit quarterly and year-end grant reporting.
- Provide direct services and facilitation for an appropriate caseload.
- Assist in program design including the development and implementation of appropriate programming based on the need, in conjunction with the Program Manager.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with other programs and agencies to benefit clients and programs.
- Support program functions in conjunction with PeopleOps, purchasing, and accounting.
- Meet program outcomes and goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
More Specifically, In This Role We Request: This position requires some specific skills that we hope you can bring.
- Bachelor Degree in Human Services or related field and two years of related work experience, or eight years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certifications in related topics (Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist, Parents as Teachers Educator, etc.) (preferred)
- CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate (preferred)
- Certificate from Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) (preferred)
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License
- Proof of current automobile insurance
