Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented Cash Receipts Lead with 2+ years of solid experience in customer cash receipt management and posting, to join our team in St. Louis.  If the customer didn’t provide details on the payment, you must be able to reconcile what the customer paid to what invoices the payment should be applied to. From time to time, you will have to reach out to the customer to obtain info on how the payment should be applied. 

Responsibilities

· Reach out to customers to obtain information that allows you to post the payment properly to open invoices.

· Process payments that come in and keep accurate records within NetSuite.

· Help figure out and fix any payment issues or differences, using your existing knowledge.

· Update customer accounts with payment information in NetSuite such as recurring auto payment information.

Knowledge, Skill & Other Requirements

· 2+ years of proven experience as performing accounting duties or cash receipt postings.

· Demonstrable stable work history with increasing responsibility in role.

· Experience using ERP systems for AR functions; NetSuite experience is preferred but not required.

· Strong understanding of basic accounting principles related to cash receipts/AR.

· Use of cash receipts lockbox service preferred but not required.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.

· Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills, built upon your professional experience.

· Organized and able to manage your workload effectively.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Must be able to provide professional references that support your experience and work ethic.

How We'll Measure Your Success (Key Performance Indicators - KPIs):

Payment Processing Accuracy: The percentage of payments you process within NetSuite without any errors. Example: Aim for 99% accuracy in processing payments.

Timing of posting daily cash receipts: Have 95% of daily cash receipts posted within two business days of the day received. 

Adherence to Procedures: Following our specific RapidFire AR processes correctly and consistently within NetSuite. Example: 100% compliance with established AR procedures.
