About the Department

Responsibilities include bankruptcy claims processing, Write off Processing, Company System Administrator for Banking Institution, Collections of Business Personal Property taxes, Statistical Data Analysis Collections, Commercial Personal Pre-Collect Tax processing and maintenance in the Office of the Treasurer.

Generally, the hiring range is $49,916-$62,395 annually. Qualifications, education and experience as it relates to the position will be taken into consideration when determining hiring salary.

Position Duties

A high school diploma or GED equivalent and three (3) years of related office experience and/or training with a focus on bankruptcy law and mandates. A combination of education and experience may be considered. 

This position requires the ability to read and comprehend bankruptcy codes and rules, Colorado Statutes and effectively communicate statutory requirements to others. Perform math such as calculate figures and amounts such as interest, proportions, percentages. Typing, computer knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word, 10-key, some basic understanding of accounting, and general clerical skills through pre-employment assessments.  This position must exhibit effective organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to interact professionally and proficiently with all staff of the Treasurer’s Office in a support capacity to most positions.
