Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for treatment with a calm, reassuring approach
• Select and set up appropriate instruments and materials based on each procedure
• Support the dentist through efficient 4-handed dentistry techniques
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment following health regulations
• Perform non-surgical clinical tasks such as coronal polishing (if certified)
• Offer clear oral hygiene education and post-op care instructions
• Keep treatment rooms organized and stocked
• Assist with patient records, scheduling, and payment-related tasks when needed

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Minnesota Dental Assistant License (LDA)
• Strong understanding of sterilization protocols, OSHA/CDC standards, and dental instruments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Organized, flexible, and able to adapt in a fast-moving environment
• Positive energy and a team-first attitude

Additional Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited dental assistant program preferred
• Additional certifications (e.g., coronal polishing, EFDA) are a plus
• Proficient in dental software and digital X-ray systems
