Lab Analyst - 23601 presso The Bergaila Companies

We are seeking a Lab Analyst for assignment in Quincy, Washington. The selected candidate will perform a variety of sampling, testing and analysis of water and wastewater related systems.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

- Collection of wastewater and water samples daily; This includes driving to sites

- Set up auto-samplers to collect samples at industries and other sites around the city

- Run daily samples on various lab tests

- Monitor data for compliance and alert operators to any major changes in data

- Input data into a computer based data system

- Monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control for lab tests

- Uphold compliance by ensuring collection of samples in correct locations, at correct times, with correct techniques

- Correspond with a sublab and coordinate pickup of samples

- Help with creating and maintaining reports

- Review lab reports

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Drivers License

- Completion of at least 12 semester units in chemistry or bacteriology

- 1+ year of laboratory testing and analysis experience
