About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and customer service-oriented Attendant for our Donation Center. As an Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the donation center, including accepting and processing donations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service to donors. Your main goal will be to ensure that all donations are processed efficiently and effectively, and that donors have a positive experience when donating to our organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to fill out receipts for customers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities:

• Accept and process donations, ensuring that all items are properly sorted and stored
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sorting and organizing donations and keeping the donation center free of clutter
• Provide excellent customer service to donors, answering questions and providing assistance as needed

Skills:

As an Attendant Donation Center, you will use your excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for donors. You will also use your strong organizational and time management skills to ensure that all donations are processed efficiently and effectively. Additionally, your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in collaborating with team members to meet donation center goals. Finally, your ability to lift and move heavy items will be necessary to handle donations of various sizes and weights. We always use team lifting for heavy objects
