Echo Tech presso Conway Regional Heath System

The Echocardiography Technologist uses Ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow and assists with other cardiac procedures including Holter scanning and Treadmill Stress testing.

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:

This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services. 

• Associates Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification from ARDMS preferred, or registered with ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

• Successful completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers prior to completion of orientation

• Previous Computer Experience

• Knowledge of Joint Commission and Arkansas Department of Health requirements preferred

 Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications with the approval of the Corporate Director of Human Resources.
