Position Description
We’re looking for a curious and driven Data Analyst to join our Media Data team. This hybrid role blends analytical thinking with engineering skills, ideal for someone who enjoys working with data end-to-end—from analysis to infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in analyzing media performance, generating insights, and contributing to the next phase of our integrated data platform. This platform will eventually support AI-driven insights, including large language model (LLM) integration.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Analyze media campaign data across digital and traditional channels to identify trends, performance drivers, and optimization opportunities
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for internal teams and clients
- Collaborate with engineers and strategists to enhance our data infrastructure and reporting capabilities
- Contribute to the development and refinement of algorithms used for media planning and performance forecasting
- Support the evolution of our integrated data platform, helping to prepare it for AI and LLM applications
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to innovate and improve our data products and services
Knowledge & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a media, advertising, or marketing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for storytelling through data
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel; experience with Python or R is a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Understanding of media metrics (CPM, CTR, ROAS, etc.) and campaign performance KPIs
- Experience working with large datasets and cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- A growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with version control
- Interest in or experience with AI/ML applications in marketing
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
The above represents the expected base salary range for this role. Exact compensation is determined by level of experience, location, and other job-related factors.
