Fall Musical - Director presso Minnesota Valley Education District

Summary:
Responsible for working with the play assistant directors and students to put on stage performances for the community.

Description:

• Oversees daily practice and rehearsals
• Sets practice schedules 
• Works with the assistant director in choosing appropriate music selection
• Knowledge of directing a play or musical
• Hold auditions and determine the cast for Fall Musical
• Choose appropriate material for Fall Musical
• Direct rehearsals and prepare the cast for Fall Musical performances
• Practice Daily 
• Will facilitate set design, costume design and props needed
• Will organize strike down and clean up or production
• Will work with assistant directors to maintain an organized environment (stage, wings, prop room, costume room, sound booth)

Education & Experience:
Experience with a play production, including rehearsals, set design, lights, and sound.
