Salary Range: $79,000-$115,000

We are looking to hire a compassionate Nurse Manager (RN) on our 20 bed Ventilator unit. As the Nurse Manager you will direct, teach and supervise staff while providing quality patient care.

  • Directly supervise all day nursing staff and indirectly supervise nursing staff on other shifts
  • Clinical responsibility for the unit on a 24/7 basis including on-call weekend rotations
  • Delegate responsibility to nursing personnel for direct nursing care of patients
  • Oversee, participate in and verify the development, coordination and implementation of resident care plans through MDS+ assessment and resident care conference
  • Coordinate ongoing nursing interaction with resident, families and responsible parties
  • Participate in the development of unit budgets and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory criteria and policies and procedures of the facility

Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Current New York State RN license
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Previous experience managing nursing staff required
