Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction on topics such as the principles of marketing, how to operate a business, and the financial aspects of business.
- Improve students' knowledge of business practices.
- Teach business topics such as basic economics, resume writing, facts about business careers, account checking, computers, the stock market, accounting, and finance.
- Deliver the skills and knowledge necessary for students to function as responsible citizens in the business world.
- Create projects designed to enhance lectures.
- Read and stay abreast of current topics in business.
- Passionate about working with students and providing the individual interventions needed for success.
- Collaboration-oriented personal and teaching philosophy
- Willingness to engage in school community and events
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree and appropriate Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- Bilingualism is a highly desired skill for a position, but not a requirement
