Description

The Compliance & Sustainability Coordinator keeps Paris Corporation prepared for customer, regulatory, and third-party audits while supporting our environmental and quality commitments. This role manages documentation, training, and reporting for compliance programs, including FSC, SFI, UL, ISO-style quality audits, and customer-driven sustainability initiatives like Walmart Project Gigaton. The role also supports Paris’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring policies, procedures, and records align with ISO 9001/14001 principles. Acting as the central point of contact for auditors and internal teams, the coordinator ensures audit readiness year-round and helps drive improvements in compliance and quality practices.

Requirements

  What you'll do:


Audit Management and Compliance

  • Maintain schedules, records, and documentation to ensure Paris is prepared for FSC, SFI, UL, BV, SMETA, and customer audits.
  • Support preparation for ISO-style quality and capacity audits.
  • Act as liaison with external auditors and coordinate cross-department audit prep and follow-up.
  • Track and close corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

Sustainability & Reporting

  • Support customer sustainability programs, including Walmart Project Gigaton and EcoRecords.
  • Gather and report data related to Scope 1–3 emissions, packaging claims, and supplier due diligence.
  • Stay updated on emerging compliance and sustainability requirements.

Documentation & Training

  • Maintain compliance SOPs, training logs, and audit files.
  • Deliver employee training related to compliance, safety, and quality standards.
  • Partner with managers to ensure accountability in their areas.

Quality & QMS Support

  • Assist in maintaining Paris’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 principles.
  • Support internal quality audits and help ensure consistency of SOPs, training, and record retention.
  • Work with Operations, Production, and Distribution to document and track quality performance metrics.
  • Contribute to environmental compliance initiatives aligned with ISO 14001.
  • Other duties as assigned

Your Background:

  • 3+ years in compliance, quality, or audit coordination (manufacturing/distribution preferred).
  • Experience supporting external audits (FSC, SFI, ISO, SQF, or similar).
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Epicor a plus).
  • Clear communicator, comfortable with auditors and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Walmart Project Gigaton, EcoRecords, or customer sustainability reporting a plus.
  • Knowledge of Scope 1–3 emissions reporting basics a plus.
  • Exposure to supplier due diligence, social compliance, or responsible sourcing programs.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001 quality and environmental frameworks a plus.
