Hours: 1st Shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) Overtime is expected when needed.

Location: LaGrange Facility, Advanced Components 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Study production schedules while estimating and adjusting output to meet customer demands.
  •  Examine product for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  •  Training production associates in proper and safe techniques in order to safely produce quality products while maximizing output.
  •  Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product. 
  •  Assist Supervisor II or III in following company policies in supervision of regular and temporary associates.

 

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  •  Basic math skills. 
  •  Basic computer skills for data entry.
  •  Ability to exercise good judgement.
  •  Ability to work weekday and weekend overtime as required.
  •  Ability to read and interpret documents such as Engineering drawings, bills of material, routings, company policies, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  •  Excellent attendance.
  •  Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Physical demands representative of those met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions. Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.  Required to stand, walk, sit, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  •  Close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
